Tall Ships Arrive in Bay City, Michigan

Nova Scotia Outport Map July 10, 2013 - As Tall Ships Cleveland comes to a close, the ships make their way through the St Claires River and into Lake Huron, as they head to their next port of call in Bay City, MI. Bay City will host the tall ship fleet in a weekend of fun filled events, highlighting the maritime heritage of the area. Pirate exhibitions, boat building and nautical musical fare will abound. Festivities take place on both sides of the Saginaw river, in Veterans Memorial Park and Weona Park in downtown Bay City. Ships participating in this years Bay City Event include:

The vessels will be open to the public all three days from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. There will also be musical entertainment, Pirate theater and a wooden boat building, throughout the weekend. Your $8.00 Admission covers all festivities. An additional Souvenier Pasport can be purchased for $10.00, which allows entry to the Tall ship Deck tours for all three days.
